TITAN Zlatna Panega is part of the international group of manufacturers of building materials TITAN, which manages companies with different fields of activity such as the production of aggregates, various types of cement, concrete, dry construction mixes, fly ash; as well as road transport, transport with own flotilla. The company owns 14 cement plants in Southeast Europe, the United States, the Eastern Mediterranean and Brazil, with an annual production capacity of over 27 million tonnes.
Since the founding of the company to this day, the name TITAN has established itself in the cement business as a symbol of technical and business expertise, attention and focus on environmental protection and restoration, professional training of employees, providing a healthy and safe working environment and social care for the team and their families.
TITAN in Bulgaria
TITAN Zlatna Panega follows the culture and implements the values of the TITAN Group at the local level. The company has owned the plant in Zlatna Panega for more than 15 years and has so far invested over 86 million euros in its modernization. The plant which has concrete nodes in Sofia and Plovdiv is one of the main cement producers in the country.

We are proud that more than a third of our employees have been in the company for between 10 and 20 years, and 18% have been with us for over 20 years. This endorse us as the most desirable employer in the region, providing long-term employment, secure income and fair labor relations.
Apart from that, the young people also show strong interest in our company: 17% of our employees are aged 25 - 35. The continuity and transfer of knowledge and skills are provided by our experienced colleagues: 60% of our team are aged between 36 and 50 years.
The plant in Zlatna Panega works with an ambitious and highly motivated management team. We welcome the differences and although our business is part of the heavy industry, an interesting fact is that 33% of the management positions in the company are held by women.
TITAN Bulgaria encourages the recruitment of employees from local communities. Our team includes people from 27 settlements in the region - 85% of our employees are from the plants’ region, and 15% of them are from more remote locations.
Professional and personal development
Training and development are strategic priorities to TITAN Bulgaria. Knowledge and skills are a corporate value, and demonstrating professionalism in each activity is one of the main competences. We believe that the development and enhancement of the expertise of our colleagues lead our business to stable and sustainable results.
In 2019, 273 employees of the company participated in trainings. The time dedicated to learning is equal to 13,252 man-hours. The main topics we are working on are: health and safety (42% of all trainings), technical skills, development of leadership potential and qualities, digital competencies.
Our goal is to promote lifelong learning and enhance the professional skills and expertise of the team.
