TITAN Bulgaria showcases in the newest CSR textbook
13.06.2018TITAN Bulgaria’s case studies – “Non-Financial Reporting” and “Business Strategy and the UN Sustainable Development Goals” are included in the newest Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility textbook by Marina Stefanova, PhD. This is the first corporate sustainability and responsibility textbook in Bulgaria, which summarizes theory, expertise and good business practices in thirty different directions of strategic business management, oriented towards sustainable growth and leadership of companies in society.
The textbook gives inspirational examples from 12 industries: banking, gas, energy, consultancy, light industry, marketing, media, medicine, mining, brewing, processing and pharmaceuticals. Twenty-eight Bulgarian companies share their achievements in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) through a total of 35 case studies to illustrate the theory of corporate sustainability and responsibility.
The 4 chapters of the textbook review the theoretical foundations of CSR, its key courses, the implementation processes and the company as a factor for promoting CSR in society.

Marina Stefanova, PhD, is a lecturer at the University of Finance, Business and Entrepreneurship and at the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Marina Stefanova is also Sustainable Development director of the UNGC Network Bulgaria. She is actively working to create standards and policies in the field of CSR as a member of the Mirror Committee for ISO 26 000 at the Bulgarian Institute for Standardization, as well as the Working Group 13 at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and as a participant in the work of the Economic and Social Council. In 2013, b2b media honors her with the "Green Person of Bulgaria" prize.
Her latest multimedia education project CSR Advice Box makes her one of the online entrepreneurs with a cause.
